They of course also have many unique conditions specific to their own species and even breeds.
The main take home message of any medical concern you may have about your pet is to ask. If unsure as to whether a problem is of concern, it costs only a phone call to ring your veterinarian who will advise you whether the patient should be seen or whether it is reasonable to wait and see.
